Abstract

It is known that the United States of America is characterized by moving and expanding towards important and vital regions, relying on several entrances, including military, diplomatic and economic, and the African Sahel region is one of the regions that the United States of America has been interested in for more than two decades, as this region has become a focus of great interest On the part of the US administration, several programs have been put in place for it to extend its influence in several countries of the same region, and the reason for this is due to the increase in the influence of the armed movements in them, as well as the increasing strategic importance that the Gulf of Guinea represents for the energy security of the United States of America.
