About the journal
The Al-MAHAD Journal is a quarterly scientific journal published by the Alamein Institute for Postgraduate Studies. The Journal specializes in publishing legal and political research and studies, as well as humanities interdisciplinary studies connected to law and political sciences. It is supervised by a distinguished group of specialized Iraqi and international professors.
The journal is accredited in scientific promotions by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Research and Development, as stated in official letter No. 4 / 3774 dated 7/9/2020. It is registered in the Iraq National Library and Archive in Baghdad with the number (2181) in 2016, and holds the International Standard Serial Number or ISSN 2518-5519 and eISSN 3005-3587.
Journal’s Vision
Attaining pioneership and excellence in publishing scientific, legal, political and humanities research in both Arabic and English, as well as accomplishing local, regional and international expansion, and obtain international recognition for the journal in the field of scientific publishing.

Producing knowledge that serves the community, and supporting intellectual creativity in legal, political, and humanities, in addition to publishing peer-reviewed research pursuant to international professional standards.

- Enrich the research movement and provide an opportunity for researchers aiming to publish their work.
- Publish papers submitted for the Annual Bahr AlOloum Award within the scope of the journal (the three top winning papers).
- Publish reports of scientific seminars and conferences held at the Al Alamein Institute for Postgraduate Studies.
- Active partaking with Iraqi, Arab and international associations and scientific research centers to enrich the scientific research movement.
