Abstract

The

Southeast Asia is of geostrategic importance due to its geographical location, natural resources and economic capabilities. It is also the fastest growing economy in the world, especially since it has become one of the most important economic blocs in the world. This has made it a central focus of Indian strategic interest, as India has come to realize that this data enhances its strategy of peaceful rise if it is employed purposefully and multi-leveled through openness in its relations with these countries by enhancing joint cooperation and common interests, leading to the establishment of strategic partnerships.
