Abstract

   The religious reference played important roles in shaping the nation’s movement, events and situations. It had a clear impact on the great transformations that the political life witnessed after the American occupation of Iraq in 2003 , especially in the October protest demonstrations in 2019 Which had a prominent, effective and positive role in uniting the masses around the need to follow the mechanisms of peaceful deliberation to achieve their demands, draw a road map towards reform, and put pressure on the government to respond.
