USA perceives its dominance on global energy as neceesry for sustaining its dominance worldwide. Russia realized the energy resources of Middle Asia away from the role and contributions of Russia will remove its influence and diminish its active role in this region. The American oil companies can increase contact with Washington which could weaken political and economic ties to Russia, which might trigger fears of Russia, prompting her to compete with the U.S in the region.
