Abstract

Karbala Governorate suffered from apparent neglect in infrastructure and road development before the political regime change in Iraq in (2003), the relative abundance of financial allocations after (2003) played a role in an urban renaissance In the field of making, developing and re-mining road policy, Our research adopted a statistical procedure for drawing road policy in the governorate, its districts and suburbs through coordination and data inventory in municipal and local government departments, this study clarifies the road development policy for the years (2018-2019-2020) through the self-efforts of the municipality departments in the governorate at times, and through the projects department in the governorate, which works with its funding from regional development funds at other times, and between this and that, we found that there is joint coordination between these executive bodies in planning, designing, developing alternatives, implementing and evaluating these policies, the common goal is to develop the province's streets and bring them out with the appearance that befits them as a governorate that is a shrine to Muslims.
