Although Turkey and Greece are members of NATO and share the same geography and democratic values adopted by Western countries, the phenomenon of conflict and competition between them over energy sources has become an obstacle between them, the reason for this tension in the ongoing relations between the two countries.
The research study deals with Turkish-Greek relations and competition by addressing the backgrounds and history of Turkish-Greek relations, the most important contentious issues and areas of cooperation between the two countries, and the Greek position on the ongoing Turkish violations and allegations regarding airspace and regional waters, and this is an aspect of clarifying Turkish moves towards foreign policies.
