The study of security in its comprehensive sense is one of the most important requirements for research in Gulf security. As the research into the determinants of Chinese foreign policy, its governing factors, and the challenges facing the Gulf countries represents a basic goal of the research. Therefore, the research was divided into three axes, the first axis of which is addressed (Determinants of Chinese Foreign Policy) a detailed study of all the factors governing political decision-making in Chinese foreign policy and its goals in the Gulf. The second axis is entitled (The position of the Arab Gulf states in Chinese foreign policy in the light of international changes) and it also aims to clarify the position of the Gulf states in Chinese foreign policy and its importance. The third axis, entitled (The future and prospects of Chinese-Gulf cooperation in light of the current security challenges), will be a future study that includes an outlook on the pattern of cooperation between China and the Arab Gulf states.
