Although international humanitarian law has established ethical principles for engaging in armed conflicts, their application in the context of contemporary armed conflicts may raise a problem regarding the extent to which autonomous weapons can respond to the ethical standards and principles contained in the law.Consequently, autonomous weapons have generated widespread concerns, especially with their widespread use in contemporary armed conflicts, and their inability to apply the principles of distinction, proportionality, and feasible precautions. The problem of its non-compliance with ethical and humanitarian standards, and its complete independence in choosing and targeting targets.
