The right to an adequate standard of living is one of the rights that starts from the basic principle: achieving social justice, by providing work for those who are able and organizing it according to humane conditions, and securing those who are unable to work against poverty, disease and old age, and this requires a positive attitude from the state represented by its direct intervention to protect This right and ensuring the minimum standard of living, in addition to its negative attitude of not interfering with it, regardless of the prevailing circumstances, and that this right is one of the rights that has an important place in international law, as it includes the right of the individual to enjoy the means of subsistence of adequate nutrition, adequate clothing, housing and health And education, and the question that was answered in the course of the research, is whether the legislative system addressed this right, with two studies using an analytical research method.
