Abstract

Crime in all its forms is considered a priority concern of decision-makers at all national, regional, and international levels. Because it is represented a permanent dilemma that threatens the tranquility and stability of all societies, hinders their peace, and impedes their growth and prosperity. Where the investigation by the investigator is carried out under the supervision of the investigating judge. Accordingly, the judicial investigator is defined as (the person carrying out the investigation to detect the crime, the truth of the perpetrator, its time, place, and the manner in which it was committed). The investigator is considered one of the members of the judicial police who carry out the investigation, as such procedure requires the investigator to have a set of special characteristics, including not submitting to any influences, being impartial, calm, and patient, and having legal knowledge of his work. In order to indicate whether the acts and procedures carried out by the investigator of the Commission of Integrity are considered purely judicial act, which is equal in content to the judicial investigator act in the court, the case requires a statement of the legal nature of the work of the investigator of the Commission of Integrity. So, this research was divided into two sections. In the first, we will address defining the Integrity Commission investigator, and in the second, we discuss defining the nature of the Integrity Commission investigator's act.
