Abstract

The research deals with the beginning of the Arab Spring revolution in 2011 in Tunisia and Egypt and the extension of the waves of this spring to the rest of the countries, and it resumed its movement in 2019 in Iraq, which was considered a second wave of the Arab Spring. This revolution established a new mechanism for gaining power, with the participation of the masses, who have the right to participate in political affairs. In Iraq, the Arab Spring began its wave in October 2019, distinct from the rest of the Arab countries, because the demands of the masses did not aim to overthrow the regime, but rather to topple the regime. government, it is reformist in nature. The events of the spring of October 2019 in Iraq succeeded in bringing down the ministry, calling for new elections, and calling for the fight against corruption. Thus, he dedicated the role of the masses in their participation in changing governments as a new precedent, rather than the mechanism of military coups.
